Authentic experiences

Only review a tenancy you personally experienced. Be specific about dates and events, distinguish fact from opinion, and submit the authenticity attestation honestly. Do not coordinate reviews, accept incentives for sentiment, or post duplicate or retaliatory content.

Verax may check tenancy evidence and label a stay verified. Reviews are not accepted, rejected, ranked or edited because a landlord has claimed a profile. Profile claims do not buy favourable treatment.

Fair, relevant and privacy-safe

• Focus on the property, tenancy, maintenance, deposit, communication, listing accuracy and living conditions.
• Do not include threats, hate, discrimination, harassment, defamation stated as fact, fraud, impersonation or illegal instructions.
• Do not expose home access codes, private addresses unrelated to the listing, personal phone numbers, emails, identity documents, financial data, health data or information about children.
• Avoid speculation about motives and identify what you directly observed. Landlords should use the right of reply for factual context, not intimidation.

Moderation and right of reply

Submissions enter moderation before publication. Verax may ask for clarification, redact unnecessary personal data, reject content or restrict already-published content. A landlord may reply publicly; the reply does not change the score and is moderated under the same standards.

Moderation records identify the action, responsible administrator and reason. When the DSA requires it, affected users receive a clear statement of reasons and can request review at support@verax.lu.

Report illegal or harmful content

Use the notice form below for content you believe is illegal or violates these guidelines. Include the exact Verax URL, category and a sufficiently precise explanation. Good-faith notices are assessed without requiring an account. Abuse of reporting tools may be restricted.

Verax records notices, decisions and reasons. Urgent threats to safety should also be reported to Luxembourg emergency services or the competent authority. The form is not legal advice and does not replace formal service where law requires it.
